Farmer's Advice: Hitch Your Wagons to Some 'Guar' - WSJ.com

I've heard of Guar Gum for years as ingredients in a lot of the foods we buy. I never knew what it was, and never would have dreamed it would be used in oil fracking. This article in WSJ talks about the shortage now of Guar. It seems like very useful stuff! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Guar_gum --and most of it is grown in India.
There has got to be some good opportunities for investment right now -- other than commodities. But where are they?
